AWARD WINNING CHEESE! Despite only being in production a little over three months, Sean's first cheese, Muldoon's Picnic, is already becoming a bit of a celebrity itself! The cheese has won a Gold Medal at the British Cheese Awards at Cardiff Castle on 25th September, and you can't do much better than that!

The accolades for this fabulous cheese just keep piling up! At the recent Bakewell Show in Derbyshire, Muldoon's Picnic has just won Best Single Crumbly Lancashire Cheese and Best Farmhouse Cheese and Sean himself has gone on to win the Speciality Cheese Makers Association Trophy.

Sean's first cheese to launch with us here at Churchmouse Cheeses is Muldoons Picnic, a crumbly Lancashire cheese made with pasteurised Saddleworth cow's milk. Made to a traditional two day curd recipe, the cheese is fresh and mild like a good Crumbly Lancs should be, but with an enticing acidity and gentle bite at the finish giving the cheese its unique character. 

Well worth a try (I guarantee you'll be back for more!) and you can impress your guests with the story behind the cheese!
